Each year, University of Macau receives scholarship and academic prize donation from companies/organizations and individuals. Students with outstanding academic performance or excellent performance in extra curricular activities will have the chance to be awarded with scholarships and academic prizes. At the same time, UM receives fellowship donations from companies which aim to alleviate the financial burdens of students who are in need.

Currently most of the scholarships are selected based on academic results and do not require application (please see exceptions in the scholarship page below). Academic prizes are awarded to potential graduates/graduates who show excellent academic performance and do not require application neither. For fellowships, application will be open in May each year. Please refer to the fellowship page for more details.
